I am 30 yrs old and 5 years ago had a complete health breakdown, starting with Epstein Barre, then cochsachae B1 and lastly after sending blood work overseas, I was diagnosed with a chronic rickettsial infection! I had to resign from my job. This disease is treated with years of huge doses of tetracycline antibiotics. The treatment helped and for the first time in over a year I started feeling like I could live again. However, the side effects of the antibiotics were terrible and I eventually stopped the treatment. I have always been very active, sporty and healthy so I had really huge mental and physical adjustments to make.
